Well, I guess it had to happen sometime. That stalwart of public domain books, Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, often repackaged to be sold or given away by Internet marketers, has been updated for the modern era. The New Think and Grow Rich is coming out this week in a printed version, suitable for Christmas gift-giving. Haven’t read it yet, so can’t comment on how good or bad it is, but the public domain version is pretty old in the tooth in a how-a-white-male-can-make-it-rich kind of way. The publisher’s doing a big promo with free bonuses if that kind of thing turns your crank, but I’d rather just read the book. (I could spend all my waking hours reading all the free bonuses I’m entitled to… I have trouble enough reading all the stuff I actually buy…)

One way to make money with Think and Grow Rich is to take the PD version, put it on your website, and then slap some AdSense ads on it… oh, wait, it’s been done, darn it…
